Pink Saturday Happy Fathers Day

Hello to all my Pink Friends,
This is a big weekend, Father's Day, my dh Rick's birthday and Pink Saturday. My daddy is no longer with me, he went to live with Jesus. For Rick I decided to make things in our patio a little different so he can enjoy this little garden from the window in his office. As most of you know he had a stroke. Tomorrow I will be taking him out to the patio for lunch, that way he can get a closer view of what I did for him. Hope you enjoy our garden. The pink roses bloomed just for them.




This is my dh Rick quite a few years before the stroke. He no longer has the beard just the mustache. We also got rid of these terrible doors.

Here is my dear daddy, he passed away at age 83. Miss you daddy.

We will be enjoying our patio tomorrow but Rick is able to see it already.

My son made this castle when he was 14 yrs. old. He has always worked with clay.

My cat Jersey Girl follows me everywhere, she saw me climb the ladder to fix the curtains so she decided to do same. She is so silly and talks to me with her meows.

I hope everyone has a beautiful and peaceful Father's Day, those of you who no longer have your dads let your sweet memories stay with you every day of your life.

Pink Saturday-Pink Roses

Hello My Pink Friends, We just did the Wedding Party with Angelic Accents and now it's Pink Saturday. It's late and I am just getting around to it, where does the time go.
A couple of days ago I went to GW and there was this gorgeous heart plate, of course had to get it. It's a pretty good match to my hot chocolate set below.

These are delicious little sweets to have with our hot chocolate. Bought them at Home Goods, should of bought more.

My Bridal Party

Welcome everyone to this year's Wedding Party sponsored by Angelic Accents. We will start off with the cake. This time I decided we would enjoy two cakes, one in white while the other in pink.

One can never have enough cake. Ok, cake will be served in just a few minutes, so gather round for you don't want to miss a slice of each cake. Don't they look delicious? Can't wait.

My bridal bouquet was all white roses, however, for this party I only had these.

This is my original crown and bride and groom cake toppers. How they survived all these years I'll never know.

Here is my dress from the original Modern Bride magazine. I remember that when I saw it in the magazine I told mom, this is the dress I want. Designed by Ina, lace by Mandelace. It was entirely of exquisitely French imported hand clipped Chantilly-type lace and pleated nylon tulle. The entire bodice, scoop neckline and sleeves were enhanced with sequins and tiny seed pearls. It was reminiscent of the most romantic era of the past.




And we lived happily ever after....

My Shabby Chic Chair

Hi Sweet Friends, Look what I did with my old chair, actually was going to donate it when I decided to just throw an old vintage tablecloth on it and guess what? A new chair was born. Added a pillow, one of my dolls and a little heart pillow I made. I am thrilled with it and hubby Rick really likes it too.

Pink Saturday

Hello dear friends, here we are again, it's Pink Saturday made possible by Beverly. Can't believe how fast the time goes, the clock just refuses to slow down. So went to GW yesterday and there was this darling pink dress form just waiting for me to bring her home with me. Cost you ask? $4.35 I was so excited cause this is my new collection and have perhaps 8 or 9 now. Isn't she adorable? Guess you can tell how excited I am.


I even put her first before my pink crock pot, also from JCPenneys, it's larger than we wanted but hey, it's pink and that's what counts. Click on the link to Pink Saturday on my side bar to see more pretty pinks.

Pink is my color and probably for most of you too. It makes me happy, cheers me up at all times everyday. When shopping my eyes just seem to go directly to pink...so Happy Pink Saturday my Pink Friends.

The Color is Pink

Hi everyone and Happy Birthday Pink Saturday, several things going on this month with birthdays, mother's day, which just passed and we had a wedding anniversary also, wow it's been busy. This week I am sharing my pink bread box, which I bought at Penney's last summer and my pink hand mixer which I bought at Amazon. Love my bread box and looks so pretty in my kitchen with all my other pinks.

Coffee or Tea

Hello to all My Pink Saturday Friends, Today we are celebrating the 4th Birthday of Pink Saturday with our dear friend, Beverly. Link is on my side bar to see more pinks. I decided to share with you today my pink coffee pot which will be brewing delicious coffee in a few minutes to have with the pink cake. Cake is my weakness, I inherited it from my daddy, bless his heart. I would bake him cakes all the time. This coffee pot I bought at Penney's, think most of my pink appliances are from there.


Or if you prefer tea my tea pot is ready, sorry we cannot sit and chat the way I'd like to do. So let's brew ourselves a cup of tea, I'll think of you and you think of me.

Hello Dear Ones...We took a drive to Downtown Disney since Disneyland is out of the question for my husband, Rick. This was so much easier for him to take pictures. Hope you enjoy them as much as he enjoyed taking them.....This is the arch entering Downtown Disney.

All pictures were taken from his wheel chair and what fun he had,of course with one hand only, he is paralyzed on the entire left side. Our daughter went with us cause I could not handle this alone.

Pink Saturday Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to all Mothers...I will start out by showing you my beautiful mother Emily, miss you mom, she was only 18 here. This is my favorite picture of her holding some very pretty roses, no wonder daddy fell in love with her.

I love this red hair doll, I purchased her at a thrift store.

I use my pink blender almost daily.

Of course had to have a pink microwave.
