Hello to all my Pink Friends,
This is a big weekend, Father's Day, my dh Rick's birthday and Pink Saturday. My daddy is no longer with me, he went to live with Jesus. For Rick I decided to make things in our patio a little different so he can enjoy this little garden from the window in his office. As most of you know he had a stroke. Tomorrow I will be taking him out to the patio for lunch, that way he can get a closer view of what I did for him. Hope you enjoy our garden. The pink roses bloomed just for them.
This is my dh Rick quite a few years before the stroke. He no longer has the beard just the mustache. We also got rid of these terrible doors.
Here is my dear daddy, he passed away at age 83. Miss you daddy.
We will be enjoying our patio tomorrow but Rick is able to see it already.
Another view.
We will have lunch here, after I set the table all up in pink and white.
Mr. Toad lives here in this little garden.
He likes living among pretty flowers.
This pretty little princess resides here in her castle surrounded by sweet flowers.
My son made this castle when he was 14 yrs. old. He has always worked with clay.
A little bunny lives in this garden, don't think he shows.
My cement kitten asleep in her garden.
A beautiful angel.
My cat Jersey Girl follows me everywhere, she saw me climb the ladder to fix the curtains so she decided to do same. She is so silly and talks to me with her meows.
I hope everyone has a beautiful and peaceful Father's Day, those of you who no longer have your dads let your sweet memories stay with you every day of your life.
I have joined A Delightsome Life party, Home and Garden, link on side bar. Also Cottage Garden Party, link on side bar so you can see more pretty gardens.

ReplyDeleteNow, why can't my roses look that nice? The castle that your son made when he was 14 is so special. I bought a castle bird house recently, and getting ready to paint it soon. That is so nice that you are fixing your patio up for your husband so he can relax out there. I love the picture of your dad.
