Hello Dear Ones...We took a drive to Downtown Disney since Disneyland is out of the question for my husband, Rick. This was so much easier for him to take pictures. Hope you enjoy them as much as he enjoyed taking them.....This is the arch entering Downtown Disney.
Thought we would start out with the apple, "take a bite my dear"
This fabulous building is a restaurant, we had lunch here.
Polly wants a cracker.
Of course he had to take a picture of Ursula.
Isn't this pirate handsome?
Rick likes frogs, he could not pass up this cutie.
Fabulous street lamp with the famous Mickey Ears
Will leave you with Mickey and Minnie.
How did you enjoy this little trip to Downtown Disney? Hope it brought you a little joy, for the joy that you give to others is the joy that comes back to you... All pictures were taken from his wheel chair and what fun he had,of course with one hand only, he is paralyzed on the entire left side. Our daughter went with us cause I could not handle this alone.

How neat! I'm sorry your husband is not well.
ReplyDeleteHi Lu, You can tell Rick that he can take pictures for me anytime from his wheel chair. I enjoyed his trip. Disneyland makes me think of when we went to Disney World a lot of years ago. You are never to old to enjoy Disney. Hope you are doing o.k. I have been busy with doctor visits, but not a lot of answers. We just take each day we are given. We didn't think we would make it this far. Have a wonderful week. Hugs from Your Missouri Friend.

photography also. Right from his wheelchair. How expertise is that.
Nice you can do that and dont have to travel like us Canadians for days to get there.
Then we have to chose days when to go to avoid Spring break crowds. Take kids out week before. That is how i had to do it. Many moons ago. Thank goodness my kids were very smart students so taking them out early we could.
Great pictures that he took! Thank you for sharing them on your blog!

Hi Lu,
ReplyDeleteWOW looks like a fun and amazing day. Rick took some great photos. It is amazing with only one hand too. I can't take good ones with two hands. He is very talented.
Love the hand with the apple. I visited Disneyland when I was in the 6th grade. Downtown Disney looks amazing.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
