Hi Sweet Friends, Look what I did with my old chair, actually was going to donate it when I decided to just throw an old vintage tablecloth on it and guess what? A new chair was born. Added a pillow, one of my dolls and a little heart pillow I made. I am thrilled with it and hubby Rick really likes it too.
This is just a little post, getting ready for a wedding party on Friday, so be watching. Link on my side bar. Till then my friends...

Lu, your chair looks so sweet and charming. I could sit there for a long time just reading or thinking. The vintage tablecloth makes it, as it is such a unique design. I'm glad I came back to take a peek at it. It's lovely.

Hi Lu. Isn't it amazing how we can transform things like that. Your chair now looks absolutely delightful, and I'm sure you are very pleased with it - so cute!
ReplyDeleteYou did a lovely job with your chair. I have a chair in our library room that could use a quick make-over as well. Now you have given me a few ideas. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Chair looks marvelous.
ReplyDeleteI was about to give up blogging for personal reasons but decided to carry on as it would have meant losing many good friends.

ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
Hi Lu, Thank you so much for your suggestions on good bottles of Greek wine. I will definitely make note for our next Greek night! I'm so sorry to hear about your son-in-law. That must have been very difficult for your family, though it's good to know your daughter has been able to keep their restaurant up and running. How exciting that your granddaughter is in Greece! Jess spent some time in Athens a couple years ago, and I hope to make it out there too one day. Thanks again for stopping by! ~ Nel

Hi Lu,
ReplyDeleteDo you mean the movie, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding?" Yes, I have the movie, and my kids have all seen it many times. It's a favorite in our house. I would love to see your grandson dance like Zorba. What a sight that would be.

Lu, Yes I have seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding...many, many times, and it's still a favorite! So many hilarious scenes! ( : How fun that your family has weddings just like in the movie, and that's wonderful that your grandson honors his dad with such a special dance. I'm a big believer in keeping your heritage alive. Looking forward to my own "big, fat Greek wedding" soon!
ReplyDeleteThats a cute idea! I think my favorite pillow in your shoppe would also look nice sitting on there too :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a fab week!

I have changed the url on my blog. If you wish, you should unfollow my old "Days Gone By" blog (click "manage" on your dashboard, down below, and click on that site and unfollow) and then refollow on the follower button. Thanks! I have realized that since I changed my url, the follower button is broken as far as some of my first followers goes. I also use Ellie Rae now for my name. (If you have already done this, please ignore!)
