Hello Dear Pink Friends,
Well I have been having problems finding dark pink candles so my son and I decided to make candles. This is our first try at them. They are scented with lavender and we were very happy with them. We also made many votive candles since we uses those so much. These candles are made of soy and have cotton wicks. You know so many candles out there have a metal wick which is so bad for us to breath.
This beautiful plate is one of my latest finds and only paid $2. for it.
An original painting of Annie was $3. so had to have it, think she is so cute. Love finding these little treasures.
Tomorrow Sat. going to a huge yard sale. Over 100 sellers. Looking forward to it.
Tonight I will leave you with this: "Peace rules the day, where reason rules the mind"...Wm. Collins

Your candles look great. A lot of people don't know about the metal in wicks, they create a ton of soot too.

Hi Lu, I just read your comment on Kerri's post about having a root canal this week. I had to come right over and wish you well my friend. I hope you are recovering nicely. I know saying the rosary helped a great deal.
ReplyDeleteTake good care and have a good week ahead.
