You know they say that in the garden we don’t count the hours, how true!
We get many birds here in our fountain. It's soothing and peaceful to sit and relax
in our private oasis, watch the birds and listen to the sounds of the water.

I have a similar fountain and I too enjoy watching the birds. Mine has been in my yard for a few years now so the birds have come to depend on it. I am visited daily by hummingbirds, golfinches, mockingbirds, sparrows, and wrens. I agree totally about how peaceful a fountain can be:)
ReplyDeleteOn hot summer nights it's wonderful to sit outside in our patio with candles on and soft outside lights. We also have another fountain with a flat back that sits against the wall...so we have both sounds. During the day we don't get
ReplyDeleteas many birds as you do but we do get goldfinches, sparrows and hummingbirds. :)
