Hello Dear Ones...
Just cannot believe how fast the days go by and I had not posted anything. You know I thought when we retire we will have oodles of time and not true, trust me. Well anyway here are a couple of new pictures Rick has been taking.
I bought apples for a recipe so he decided to take a couple of pics of them.
This little wooden horse I bought in a thrift store, we really like him.
Of course this clock I could not resist, also at a thrift.
This black kitten came here and stayed. We named him Spider, I know not very original but it really suits him. I took this pic.
More apples.
Was so fortunate to win this ballerina doll on ebay. I like ballerinas.
Hope next time I don't take so long to post, the times just slipped by somehow.

Good Morning Lu, I think of you often and this morning I am trying to catch up with my friends before I go watch the boys ride. I have been spending time watching horse shows with the two oldest grandsons and ballgames with the youngest. They all have their own thing. You know that you are in my thoughts and prayers every day with our lives being similar in several ways. Hubby tries to walk, somedays a little farther then others, but not that stable on his feet. Have a wonderful day and take care. Enjoy the free time you can squeeze in for yourself. I know it is hard. Many Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

So you have real Raccoons that come to visit where you live? Oh my... We don't see any here, but do have rabbits and skunks, which I do my best to avoid.. haaa

Good morning Lu, a lovely post. I really adore your ballerina! What a lovely little lady.
ReplyDeleteWe are retired too and never seem to have time anymore!
Jim has another antique show this weekend in Portland, so another busy week.

P.s. Scarf is almost finished and gorgeous!
Lu,
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing your husband's photos. They remind me of a post that I make once in awhile called "just because" as they are random pictures of this and that. I think those are the best kind. Where did you get that crown candle - I have a thing for crowns, and it's lovely? I think the apple picture is my favorite. Who doesn't love apples?
Love,
~Sheri
