Last year my daughter was fortunate to go to Ireland. She asked me "what do you want me to bring for you?" Well I said, just bring me a cup and saucer for my tea and that is exactly what she did. She chose this one cause of all the Irish clovers...It's so sweet and dainty and while I drink my tea I always think of her.
I didn't post any other tea cups because I cut my pointer finger with a kitchen knife and it's too difficult to type with it all wrapped up.
Enjoy a beautiful week my friends...

Having lived in Ireland for a while I can vouch they have some beautiful pottery and crystal there. Loved the pictures and hoped your daughter enjoyed her stay in Ireland.

Good morning Lu,
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet teacup! Love the shape of it and the delicate little shamrocks! What a treasure you have! I would love to go to Ireland one day as Hubby's ancestors and some of mine are both from there. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Wishing you a delightful day.

Love and Hugs xoxo, Orchid.
What a beautiful and special gift you received! It is so delicate and dainty! Hope your finger heals quickly!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's so pretty! And to have gotten it in Ireland seems to make it even more so. Of all the places I want most to go, it's Ireland or Italy. (The UK and France are high on the list too, but if I had to choose only one place, it'd be a toss-up between Italy and Ireland.) I hope your daughter had a fabulous trip there. How wonderful of her to bring you back the beautiful teacup.

ReplyDeleteOh this is such a beautiful tea cup and saucer brought back from Ireland. How special you daughter is to give you something so special.
I am half Irish from my dad and my grandpa was from Dublin. I would love to go one day and plan too hopefully.
Lu I sure hope your finger is healing and feeling better. Nothing worse then a hurt finger. We don't realize how much we use our hands for everything, especially the index finger. Take care and rest it.
Hugs and love from Texas, Celestina Marie
