Crepe Myrtle Trees
I had a dental appointment today and as I was driving couldn't help but notice that all the crepe myrtle trees were blooming and in such lovely colors. Giant clusters of flowers are so spectacular. They really are traffic stoppers.
I took out my camera and began taking pictures of these colorful trees, So thought since I couldn't post tea cups today because my home is a mess right now, having some painting done, decided to post these lovely trees, hope you enjoy them...
Were they not spectacular? Hope you enjoyed,

Thank you for sharing those beautiful pictures! Our crape myrtles didn't bloom very well this year. Maybe because it was a very hot and dry summer. Last year they were so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love these trees and think they are so pretty! I have planted a few but not enough:)
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely blog.

ReplyDeleteOh my....they are gorgeous!!!! The ones in our area of Texas are stressed from the heat and lack of rain.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing
That's what I keep hearing, too bad about the heat you folks have been having. Strange cause here in CA I feel we have not really had a summer yet. Weather has been very mild....Lu
ReplyDeleteThey are not colors, they are pure emotions...
ReplyDeleteFantastic!!

ReplyDeleteHi Lu,
ReplyDeleteI was just about to come visit you when your comment came through. So nice to see you tonight and I love the pics of your gorgeous Crepe Mrytls. The colors are so vibrant. Here in Texas, we usually see these wonderful trees like this too, but this year they are extremely stressed and not so vibrant. We are still with triple digit heat and no end in sight.
Thank you for stopping by and your kind comments. Yes, I got your anniversary wishes and all the comments while gone. I am still trying to make my way around to everyone. I appreciate your sweet words and dear friendship.
Have a lovely weekend and blessings to you always.
XO Celestina Marie
They are spectacular! I like how they didn't just use all one color, but grouped different colors--makes more of a statement. Do they have a fragrance?
