Sad Pink Saturday

Hello Everyone, Yesterday we had a horrible thing happen in Connecticut where a shooting happened in an elementary school. 20 innocent children were killed along with 6 adults. We are all very saddened by this and I only chose to post my nativity scene of little children. These sweet little children are little angels in heaven now. Hope 2013 is a much better year and the parents and family of all these little children heal from this horrific experience. Please visit other pretty pinks via my link on the side bar.
Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

  1. Hello, how right you are. It is a tragedy that should not have been! As said in the news, evil visited that town that day! One is moved to despair by witnessing cruelty like this! My prayers have been for these families with their huge and irreparable loss!

Your birth looks so pretty! reminds us of the innocence of children! As the messiah! Hugs, Rose M

  2. Wasn't it a terrible tragedy, Lu. I'm sure we can't begin to imagine what those poor families are going through. Sheer horror, and to happen so close to Christmas is heartbreaking. Sending blessings to you.

  4. Dear Lu, Our hearts and prayers are lifted for the families of this tragedy. I can't even imagine how the parents and children left behind are dealing with this and especially at this time of year. It surpasses all our understanding. I really feel uninspired now for Christmas. I may post a bit, but it all seems so immaterial now when so many are grieving.
    Love to you precious friend,

  8. Hello, sweet friend Lu! What a dear idea to post a picture of your "children's nativity" in honor of the innocent little ones that so senselessy perished last Friday...

my heart is weeping for their families and all who were touched by this horrific tragedy....

I just posted on my blog about a Christmas song that is kind of helping me deal with this.... it's called "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" and is by Steven Curtis Chapman.... I am trying to remember that there is still HOPE in HIM in the face of sorrow.....

    Hugs,
    Jenni
