Hello dear friends,
Today for Pink Saturday we are having Cancer Awareness since October is Cancer Awareness Month. Please click on my side bar for Beverly's Pink Saturday to see all the other pinks and more, thank you Beverly.
This post is in memory of my cousin Maria who died of Breast Cancer only a few weeks ago and only nine months after she found out she had this awful disease. Her and my cousin Daniel were such a loving couple, always together and helping each other out. They raised their family and were enjoying grandchildren. They married young and she was in her early 50's. She loved birds and had many cages plus a walk in cage full of birds.
She is with Jesus now safe and free of Cancer.
These are some of my pinks from my studio for this week.

I am so sorry to read about your cousin! At least having faith in God gives us comfort, and as you said, she is no longer suffering.

Hi Lu, It is rough to lose a love one regardless of the relationship. Cancer can show up at the most unexpected times. I love your pinks. In my house, mine is purples as if you didn't know. Hope everything is going o.k. for you and yours. Hubby is in ICU after having hip replacement surgery. This month has been horrible with him fracturing his back the 1st and 4th vertbrae. They fixed those and he was doing so well with physical theraphy to the point we thought he was close to coming home. Then he fell early in the morning at the nursing home. He has continuously been getting blood to replace what he is losing. Well I am off to the hospital. I can't stay at night as long as he is in ICU. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your willingness to participate in my Pink Scarf Project-- your gift will make all the difference to someone who could use a warm hug. I love you for this---- and I will be so happy to share a photo of your gift and link to your blog. Bless you for doing this!!
