Gifts I Make
Hello to my Pink Friends,
This week I decided to show you a few of the things I have been working on for the boutiques I will be doing for the holidays. Thank you Beverly for Pink Saturdays. Link is on side bar to join in on the pink fun.
This is a special order from etsy, I just mailed it today. While this isn't all pink St. Theresa has lovely darker pink roses and the silk roses I added at the base are also a dark pink. These are sachet little pillows with lavender inside. I make many religious items.
Bought the following two metal frames at a thrift shop, they were already painted pink, I added everything else, including the Virgin of Guadalupe who now has rhinestones all around the frame and a pink rosary.
The same for this one. This madonna is from a Greek prayer card. Gave her a black rosary and of course she also has rhinestones.
I like the way this book box turned out. It is soft pink and the angel is so sweet.
This is a small box which I have embellished also, inside is a bar of soap. Have so many things I have been making but tried to choose the ones with pink on them.

Hi my sweet friend, can you believe it, I think we are getting ready for a cool down in the weather. I can't wait and I feel my energy level returning, thank goodness. I'm thinking small for my poor neglected Etsy Shop too. With high shipping cost, smaller is better. I love your new creations and I really need to get on the ball. ReplyDeleteHoly cards are holy cards, but your frames with the Madonnas are beautiful. I love that you added the rhinestones and rosaries. Such a special touch. The little sachets are lovely. Who would't love to have one of them. I have never heard of a book box, but now I am dying to know how to make one. Yours is wonderful...so feminine and sweet. A lovely post this week. genie

Hi Lu, and you bring sunshine to all that know you. Your new items are gorgeous. I love how you design with the rosaries on the frames with the Madonna. Love the little books too. The sachets are so pretty. You are one talented lady.
