Hello Dear Pink Friends, Well I have been having problems finding dark pink candles so my son and I decided to make candles. This is our first try at them. They are scented with lavender and we were very happy with them. We also made many votive candles since we uses those so much. These candles are made of soy and have cotton wicks. You know so many candles out there have a metal wick which is so bad for us to breath.

This beautiful plate is one of my latest finds and only paid $2. for it.

An original painting of Annie was $3. so had to have it, think she is so cute. Love finding these little treasures.

Tomorrow Sat. going to a huge yard sale. Over 100 sellers. Looking forward to it. Tonight I will leave you with this: "Peace rules the day, where reason rules the mind"...Wm. Collins

Daughter Loves Orange

One of my daughters Judy, loves the color orange. They have decorated the yard in this color. Since these pictures were taken, they have done so much more. I was there this past week and should of taken more pictures, especially cause the orange tree is full of oranges and adds to the decor.
She told her hubby Dann, they should paint that door orange for decor in the yard. So he just went ahead and painted it and surprised her. He always does things like that. As you can see  they are still working on that corner.
I love this swing, they sit on it to enjoy their early morning coffee on weekends.
Below this is Bailey their darling little Chihuahua in her Valentine sweater.

Her hubby surprised  her with a Valentine cake in soft orange frosting. I thought that was so cute.
This is a small section of their courtyard. It's just so cute.
Well this will do it for today and I will leave you with this: "God's do overs are truly fresh starts...clean slates without even a hint of chalk dust on them"

Thrift Finds

Sometimes we get so lucky at thrift shops and sometimes we just walk out with nothing. As some of you know I love cats and have three of my own plus feed feral cats, get them fixed and they get their shots. Well on my last trip to my local thrift shop I bought this darling little porcelain cat. I was so excited when I saw it, it's a Franklin Mint Cat made in Japan in 1984 and it was only $2.
Then at the back of the store they had a table just full of doilies from 25cents to $4.00 for the most expensive. I took most of them, only left a couple that I just didn't want. What an exciting day that was.
"Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows Him" ... Have a wonderful week. I will be sharing this with Ivy and Elephants, link on my side bar. These gals are wonderful and always have interesting posts.

Pretty Pinks

Hello dear pink friends, I have a few pretty pinks to show you today. Pink Saturday link on my side bar. Thank you Beverly. This first one is a pink rose which I purchased at the thrift shop for $2.00.
The second one is the box open to save little trinkets.
I love little teddy bears and have a few. This one I dressed with a vintage pot holder dress, remember them? Well it fit her just right so she decided she wanted it. She looks so cute.
This picture, again from a thrift shop was also $2.00 in a different frame, I liked this one better for it so changed it. Love, love this vintage picture.
It's very cold, raining in some places and snowing in others. Please everyone stay home and stay healthy. Blessings to all...

Pink Saturday

Hello Pink Friends, I am so late this week in posting my pinks, but as some of you know I have been sick all week with a nasty cold. Feeling so much better now but not yet perfect. Here are a couple of pinks that I completed while I was sick. Perhaps they aren't perfect but I had to do something, difficult to sit doing nothing even though not feeling well. However, I did quite a bit of sleeping and had lots of chicken soup. Her face is hand embroidered.
This little guy sits in a demi cup.
Let me tell you, it's no fun being sick, especially taking care of my invalid husband. Thank God for my son who did so much for us. We are lucky he works from home and lives upstairs from us. Stay healthy everyone...
